LIVE PERFORMANCES

WORKSHOPS

WORKSHOPS

Every workshop shares the same aim: participants go away with newfound skills and enthusiasm for engaging with sound. The sessions are designed so that  technical, creative and critical content is demystified. Outcomes might include the ability to make and share a cheap DIY open source synth, the confidence to enjoy sound walks, the ability to visualise sound, or the ideas for a homemade instrument.

Workshops are adapted to the partipants and context. All ages, from infant to elderly, can be catered for. I often work with other trained artists, technicians, and art therapists. You can find my full CV here.

My current project combines digital processes and resonant vessels, and the accompanying workshops allow for auditory training alongside technical skills.

All sessions are designed to respond to the emergent ideas and interests of participants, and form part of my ongoing research into the educational role of the artist in temporary communities.
